Nvidia is looking for a premier intern for an exciting role for system performance and datacenter applications. Be a key player to the most exciting computing hardware and software to contribute to the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and GPU computing! Provide insights on large scale system design and tuning mechanisms for large-scale compute runs. We are working with the latest Accelerated computing and Deep Learning software and hardware platforms, along with many scientific researchers, developers, and customers to craft improved workflows and develop new, leading differentiated solutions. Our team interacts with OS, container technologies, GPU compute, and systems specialists to architect, develop and bring up large scale performance software components and optimize performance.What you’ll be doing:Provide engineering solutions to enable large scale and tuned performance for GPU Computing products and software stacks, ensure technical relationships with internal and external engineering teams, and assisting machine learning/deep learning engineers in building creative solutions based on NVIDIA technology.Work with a team passionate about large scale datacenter development and deployment. We are running applications at scale and as fast as possible, and looking for someone to assist in analyzing large scale workloads and searching for application and infrastructure improvement opportunities.Research and analyze data, identify trends of interest, link changes to recorded events, craft conclusions and help the team make intelligent data based decisions.Prototype and develop processes for reviewing and assessing data, including but not limited to techniques for visualizing highly dimensional data to quickly identify key points.Work closely with a mentor to learn more about analysis needs and communicate findings with team membersDocument work and related materials to help us build on top of your contributions.What we need to see from you: Pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or other relevant fieldStrong programming skills, especially in C/C++ and Python.Understanding of systems softwareUnderstanding of core machine learning techniques and concepts, as well as parallel computing.Proven debugging and problem-solving skills.Desire to learn and be part of a committed and hardworking team.Collaboration and communication skills.Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.Ways to stand out:Familiarity with Linux and bash scripting, experience with Splunk or another logging management tool.Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.Deep Learning framework skills.Exposure to high performance or large-scale computing environments.Exposure to visualization techniquesThe hourly rate for our interns is 19 USD - 93 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.You will also be eligible for Intern benefits.
