The Education Sales Leader sits in the UK Sales Team and is charged with developing, leading and executing Apple’s strategy for Education across the UK and Ireland. The Education Sales Leader guides a team of Education experts to deliver fiscal, unit, and market-share goals. This position is the point of expertise and accountability for the Education route to market, providing the tools, resources, knowledge and infrastructure needed to support country-wide goals.
The role covers a broad variety of projects and will involve collaborating with many other Apple central business partners such as Finance, Sales Planning & Operations, Channel & Sales Development, Apple Retail, Legal, Business Markets, People and the Worldwide Education Leadership Team. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Delivery of the Education strategy for the UK & Ireland and subsequent results. Sales Leadership - directly leading a sizeable UK&I sales organisation to meet and exceed targets and driving the growth of the UK&I Education business Team Management and Development - lead the UK & Ireland team to ensure that objectives are clear, achieved and each team member develops to maximise their potential. To lead by example across the country, embracing a high-profile presence, acting as part of an extended team, influencing resources and sales program allocation for Education. Demonstrable influence with the Education Central and Worldwide teams on long term strategy setting, ensuring the region’s needs are reflected. Re-occurring reviews with Central Education and North Europe Sales Leadership, central and local Finance and Regional Sales Directors on performance against objectives. Budget Management - Accountable for creation, timely submission, approval, execution and subsequent return on investment measurement of Opex and BDF funds. Review of Customer/Channel Sales tools and content for the team, propose and provide input on any improvements to these tools, being an authority in their delivery. Description Description The role provides leadership to the UK&I Education Team on managing and engaging with key Education customers and partners. Working with the Worldwide and Central Education sales organisation to make sure that we work on key global initiatives to maximise on Apple’s approach and strategy in the local market. The Education Leader will craft effective sales strategies appropriate tools for expanding Apple’s presence across Education Institutions in UK and Ireland.
Education & Experience Education & Experience Key Experience:
- You have a track record of sales growth in an education sales environment
- You have deep experience of the UKI market
- You have a track record of successful sales management of a group of sales executives
- You have meaningful experience of running channel sales programs to stimulate sales growth
