Job Requisition ID #24WD75615Position OverviewThe Revenue Accounting Team is responsible for revenue recognition and reporting for Autodesk worldwide. You will work with the Revenue Manager providing deal support to the business for large Enterprise contracts in addition to traditional revenue accounting tasks. You will will perform monthly and quarterly close activities for revenue, reconcile and validate revenue, prepare required journal entries, analyze data, and prepare reports for auditors and management. You will also assist with process re-engineering and system enhancement projects within the order to cash cycle.You will be based in San Francisco, CA in a hybrid capacity. You will report to the Manager, Revenue Accounting.ResponsibilitiesYou will perform deal and contract reviews to ensure adherence with revenue recognition principlesYou will perform account analyses and reconciliations for revenue and deferred revenue related accounts on a worldwide basisPrepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basisWill work with international locations to obtain information necessary to analyze deals and reconcile accountsYou will prepare quarterly audit schedules and prepare periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirementsYou will implement and document processes including Sarbanes Oxley complianceSupport and participate on company-wide projects for revenue accounting as well as order to cash cyclesMinimum QualificationsYou have a B.S. Degree in Accounting or FinanceYoul have 3-5+ years of revenue or general accounting experienceYou have experience with quantitative and data mining skillsYou have experience with monthly and quarterly close activities and working with internal auditorsHave worked in a larger-company with finance and accounting practicesThe Ideal CandidateYou have a CPA, but not requiredYou have experience working at a Software companyYou have SAP experienceYou have BusinessObjects experienceYou are Proficient in Excel#LI-POSTLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $79,400 and $136,950. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
