Job Requisition ID #24WD75695Position OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at Autodesk in Canada. We are looking for a Automation QA Architect who would work with scrum teams and other stakeholders to create an efficient, scalable, plugin-based framework for running highly integrated, multi-product workflows that our customers need. As an Automation QA Architect, you will be working with Software Architects, Engineers, Experience Design Architects and Product Managers to deliver top quality Cloud experiences where quality is an essential part of the solution's DNA.Responsibilities Define automation test strategy and roadmap for highly distributed backend and highly extensible front-end solutions with a strong focus on fully automated quality assurance, metrics for performance and resilienceWork with Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure planned architecture can support quality requirements for both short and long termSupport implementation of automation strategy, which would include integration, e2e, performance, penetration, and chaos testingCreate and execute test plans to test features, functionality, or entire workflows at the code level, including unit tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests, workflow tests, mutation tests, and interoperability testsImplement code to execute automated tests and deliver results. Conduct code coverage analysis and monitor the code (underlying code being executed)Deploy a test reporting solution that meets the requirements of the team and stakeholdersParticipate in code and test plan reviews with the teamEstimate, plan, schedule and coordinate software testing tasks for self and othersEnsure automation for healthy and continuous development, driving the test-driven development cultureMinimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent5+ years' professional working experience in software development or quality assurance roleExperience in automation framework and tools, such as Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Lighthouse, JMeterExperience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Typescript, Java, PythonFamiliarity with project management and defect tracking systems such as JIRA or equivalentSolid knowledge and experience with Agile development processes and methodologies, such as Scrum, KanbanSuccessfully completed two or more commercial software development cyclesAbout AutodeskAutodesk is a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software.
