The Professional Services Delivery Director is actively engaged in building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a clear understanding of client needs, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality services throughout the engagement lifecycle. This role requires an innovative leader with a track record of achieving revenue targets and using market research to drive delivery strategies and improve F5’s competitive advantage while delighting our customers. The leader will possess a combination of strategic thinking, effective communication, problem-solving, and a customer-centric approach. This position oversees the EMEA regional Consulting Management Team in their day-to-day activities. As the leader of the Consulting organization the Director’s mission is to ensure: Adequate Regional Staffing, Training Plans, Resource Management, Customer Relationship / Satisfaction, Product Sales Team Relationship and Post Sales Support Offerings.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly report violations of the Code or other company policies.Manage and supervise exempt and/or nonexempt level staff. This includes but is not limited to, the following: conducting performance evaluations, approving paid time-off (PTO), assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, conducting performance improvement plans, taking disciplinary action, and interviewing candidates for open positions.Coach and mentor early in career talent while exhibiting an inclusive leadership style. The team to be led is multi-generational with team members at varying stages of their career.Provide guidance to direct reports (Manager, Consulting)Interact with other F5 departments to ensure a unified and cohesive client experience, including facilitating communication between the following teams: Partner Management, Product Sales, Professional Services Sales, Product Management, Worldwide Support and senior-level Customer Management.Efficiently allocate resources ensuring an adequate staffing model across EMEA.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes, including spearheading innovative solutions and improvements that can enhance the value of services provided (ex. Automation, AI).Collaborate with the Finance team to manage project delivery forecasts, stay within project budgets, and manage expenses to plan and provide financial reporting.Drive cross-functional initiatives and strategies that support the growth and success of the professional services organization. Including working with Peers globally, to research and deliver improved business outcomes, ensuring objectives are aligned with overall company goalsDevelop scalable processes to optimize service delivery with a primary focus on achieving quick time-to-value for our customers.Act as the voice of the customer, gain deep insights into regional needs and work with the Business Development team to develop value-added servicesIdentify opportunities for skill development and training to enhance team capabilities, including the development and maintenance of a comprehensive training and skills plan.Work with the delivery Project Managers team to monitor and mitigate engagement risks, ensuring proactive escalation and resolution of issues.Ensure accurate invoicing and billing in alignment with project milestones.Be accountable for organizational performance and readiness.Provide International assistance as requested/required.Use data-driven decision-making skills to impact short-term and long revenue goals positively.Perform other related duties as assigned.Hire and develop talent internally and externally, and in line with F5 requirements around diversity.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Highly effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.Serve as a role model for growth mindset behaviours, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to lifelong learning.Proven background in Consulting Management.Proven ability to work effectively with various departments and teams.Energetic, professional tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills.Outstanding relationship-building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.
