We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! The Opportunity The Data and Growth Platform organization is seeking for an accomplished C++ developer motivated to contribute to an exciting, high-profile effort to significantly increase Adobe's user engagement and revenue. We are crafting a high-performance, cross-platform framework to enable customized, highly personalized experiences across Adobe desktop and mobile applications. While participating on this far-reaching strategy we are focusing on using analytics to drive rapid iteration and to continuously deliver measurable impact. This initiative is an extraordinary opportunity to create the shared technology stack serving the flagship applications as well as emerging next generation products.What are we looking for in an ideal C++ developer? You will be part of a hard-working team of cross-platform, core and front-end engineers working closely with internal product teams and data scientists. Your primary role is to develop the cross-platform core technology needed to customize user experiences. Your contributions will integral to the company's strategy to adopt the latest, most sophisticated Adobe personalization services. You will have the opportunity to use the latest GenAI tools to expedite the creation of this cross-platform vision. The optimal candidate enjoys independently taking on complex problems, has a deep empathy for customers, and drives tangible results in a team-oriented culture.What you'll Do Design, implement, test, and optimize the highest quality software using mostly C++, but occasionally using platform-specific languages.Work closely with your team and our internal clients.Partner with designers and product managers to provide an outstanding customer experience.Engage with customers to identify problems, test ideas, and refine workflows.Invest in your skillset to stay ahead of the latest development, test, and deployment methodologies.What you need to succeed B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.A minimum of eight years of software development experience.At least five years expertise in desktop or mobile development using C++ and platform-specific languages (e.g., Swift, C#, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java).Experience on JavaScript, NodeJS, and ReactJS is highly wanted.Understanding of REST APIs and web services.Comfortable with the Agile development process.Ability to work independently.Be an ultimate team-player. Have strong motivation for the success of the project working together as a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
