Solution Architect

Blue Yonder Title:Solution ArchitectOverview:In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and architectural expertise to our clients, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet their needs.You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design, develop, and implement solutions that drive business value.Scope:Understand our customer´s business needs and translate them into a design using our solutionsTranslate design documents to a real solution to our customer´s needsLead functional design sessions with customersMentor younger peersOur current technical environment:Anything noteworthy about software, application architecture, etc. that the candidate should knowWhat you’ll do:Lead the design and architecture of solutions for our clientsCollaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design solutions that meet their needsWork closely with other members of the Consulting Services team to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budgetStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and apply them to our clients' projectsProvide technical and architectural guidance and mentorship to junior team membersEnsure the solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure and performantProvide guidance on the selection of technologies and platformsIdentify and evaluate new opportunities to improve the business processes and operations of our clientsMaintain a healthy billable utilizationNegotiate with customers on how their design using our solutions will fit/benefit their operationsWhat we are looking for:A minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture and consultingStrong experience in solution design and development in a variety of industries and technologiesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategicallyExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong leadership skills and the ability to lead teamsExperience with Agile development methodologiesExperience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, is a plusExperience with microservices, containerization, and cloud native is a plusExperience with Business Process Re-engineering and Digital Transformation is a plusOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
