Platform Engineer - Decision Ops Specialist

This role combines the disciplines of platform engineering with an emphasis on decision-making processes and operations. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience in platform engineering with a significant focus on Decision Ops. Expertise in AI/ML model deployment and operations. Strong proficiency in containerisation with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code. Solid Linux system administration skills and familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Proficiency in building and optimising CI/CD workflows, with experience in Argo and Airflow being highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in DevSecOps and ensuring the security integrity of decision-making platforms. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset. Description Description Spearhead the development of our platform for automating and operationalising AI/ML decision-making pipelines. Design and build robust, high-availability platforms that support scalable machine learning model deployment and management. Collaborate with R&D to explore innovative solutions to complex problems at the intersection of software engineering and machine learning. Lead containerisation efforts using Docker, and manage orchestration with Kubernetes to ensure seamless deployment of decision-making applications. Construct and maintain a resilient cloud infrastructure that enables smart, data-driven decisions. Drive continuous improvement with a focus on streamlining Decision Ops processes. Craft and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a focus on integration of decision-making tools like Prefect, Argo and Airflow. Act as a bridge between software engineering and data science teams, ensuring best practices in DevSecOps and secure software development life cycle.
