Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 1 year of experience in each of the following skills is required: Applying US GAAP within the technology or manufacturing fields Enterprise resource planning software systems, including SAP or Oracle Creating and presenting financial forecast models Financial forecasting and reporting Creating and maintaining complex formulas in Excel using multiple functions, operators, and/or cell references plus data manipulations Advising business operation teams on resource allocation, spend forecast and reserve management in the technology or manufacturing fields Data analysis and financial modeling with large sets of data to identify trends Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative economic, financial and other data to support financial planning, draw conclusions and influence decision making with business leaders. Prepare various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs, including insightful financial performance analysis to achieve business goals. Take ownership, identify process improvement and automation opportunities for existing processes, reporting and controls, and drive positive change across the organization that scale and improve accuracy. Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate the application of GAAP to peers and business partners. Document processes. Assess internal controls, identify gaps in the control process, and design additional controls to solve deficiencies. Oversee the quarterly close process working closely with finance team to ensure the validity of the financials and report results to senior management. Create and maintain reports using Excel, SAP, Tableau. Track down and identify sources of data, determine the validity of the data, and analyze the variance in the data between various systems and reports. Consolidate procurement forecast and track operational spends through collaborating with business operation teams. Coordinate and support forecasting cycles and quarter-end close processes relates to procurement. Develop models/metrics and prepare commentary for Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly business reviews. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,658 - $197,400/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
