NVIDIA is seeking a Lead Engineer, to lead all aspects of IT Enterprise and Infrastructure support. In this role, you will serve as a strategic point within the IT organization, collaborating multi-functionally and with senior leadership to drive performance and enhancing IT processes. You will be responsible for process and procedures including multiple teams and skills for enhancing IT experience for end users and efficiency of IT teams. The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate an execution mindset to facilitate the effective translation of strategic plans to incremental delivery of impact to the business. Structured thinking, problem-solving skills, and outstanding communication abilities will be crucial for success in this role as you partner with engineering and operations teams across NVIDIA.What you’ll be doing:Works on unique problems of diverse scopes where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.Demonstrates excellent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for proposing solutions and acquiring results that are addressing technical or business problems.Role involves continuous improvement of existing architecture or crafting new architecture.Interact with other IT groups, business groups, senior leaders, and vendors.Engage with all levels of management and key stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage support and operational objectives with identification and development of future processes and proposal across all NVIDIA products.Applies relevant industry standard methodologies and a broad range of experiences to solve complex corporate wide problems. Automation and Tooling: work with Tier 3 engineering teams on top call/ticket drivers for automation opportunities to reduce ticket volume and time to resolution.Expected to successfully lead all technical aspects related to a project or initiative. Personally responsible for the decisions crucial to the success or failure of the project.Technical knowledge across multiple technologies / functional areas. Is self-directed, individually or as a member of a team.What we need to see:Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.5+ years industry experienceStrong knowledge of Tier 3 Application towers in Infrastructure – Client Engineering (VDI, VM etc.), Application Engineering (exchange, JIRA workflow management, compute applications)In depth knowledge and expertise on Identity and Access Management and various collaboration/productivity tools (Business and Enterprise applications). Work with the vendors to debug or solve a possible service interruption.Experienced knowledge of computer hardware and software, and network Environment.Design, Solution, Architect, and develop Automation to make workflow efficient (change, Incident and Request Workflows), Setup Monitoring for new applications coming online.Re-Engineer existing solutions which help tackle challenges in several key areas of business.Assess all data insights based on support requests and identify, design, and implement AI/ML functionality to enable a seamless experience.
