Overview:Knows when and how to apply common methods of human centered design process and design thinking, and consistently quality designs for software applications from discovery to implementation support while following corporate design systems and design process.Works with product management to plan design process and deliverables. Plans and conducts user research to collect user requirements from all stakeholders.Defines Information Architecture and navigation structure of larger applications.Contributes to design system by identifying and specifying design patterns.Scope:Core responsibilities to include Architecting and designing (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) a ground up cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product in Order management and micro-fulfillment.The team currently comprises of 60+ global associates across US, India (COE) and UK and is expected to grow rapidly.The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team.Skills and Software Proficiencies:Software:Figma, SD, Sketch, Axure RP, UX Research Tool-camtasia etc.Knowledge of graphics design tool like photoshop, Illustrator.A portfolio of selected conceptual design workSkills:User Research: Interviews, Workshops, Empathy Mapping, Goals, Business Requirements, Personas, Analytics, Heuristics, Competitive Analysis, Vision, User Survey.Ideation: Sketching, Journey Mapping, Information Architecture, Wireframes, Interaction Design.Design : Brand Style-Guides, A/B Testing, Design Sprints, Low and High Fidelity Mockups, Rapid Prototyping, Visual Mockup.Designs Validation: Accessibility, Usability Testing, Retrospectives, Release, Feedback Integration, Iterative Design, icon handover.Handover: Style-Sheets, Graphic Elements, UI Pattern Libraries, Design Specs Documentation, Zeplin.What you’ll do:The UX Designer works closely with product management in developing a deep understanding of the context ofuse and stakeholder requirements. Helps to translate a product vision and requirements into compellinginteraction design and illustrates the design in form of wireframes. The design will be tested and iterated withinput from end users and documented in form of implementable high-fidelity wireframes. The Sr UX Designerprovides graphical assets and detailed specification to support front end developers to implement the solution.What we are looking for:Bachelor or Master’s degree in HCI, Industrial Design, Graphics Art, User Experience, Human Factors, or equal / relevant industrial experience.4+ years of job experience in designing interactive software applications.Experience in applying design methods as needed to deliver high quality human-centric product experienceExperience in using UI prototyping tools (e.g Figma, Sketch) to create wireframesExperience with implementation of Event driven architecture using Kafka, Spark or similar technologiesHands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience; should not have moved away from software developmentOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
