Job Summary:Senior Product Manager-SportsLocation: Stoke on Trent (hybrid 3 days in the office)Contract Terms: PermanentThe Senior Product Manager Sports will support the teams across several products and services from inception to launch, working with the teams using an Agile framework to ensure Ticketmaster international delivers on its core business goals.You will be part of the dedicated International Sports Product Team which is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Ticketmaster’s next generation of sports business applications and client branded eCommerce platforms for our clients and partners. These applications are part of a diverse suite of tools, mainly for sports clients, including; B2C & B2B ticketing tools to manage events, memberships and allocations, business intelligence and operational reporting, cross business collaboration tools, and payments, financial settlement and point of sales applications for selling tickets at venues, outlets, online and call centres.  Working with a multi-disciplinary team, you will create, plan and develop new and existing products to ensure our business leads the way as the future of the live entertainment industry, and you will drive a cross-functional team using an Agile framework to ensure Ticketmaster International delivers on its core business goals.  We are currently at an exciting time where we are re-platforming our systems in new modern technologies.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Guidance of other Product Managers to include coaching, continuous professional development, recognizing individual strengths and peer reviews.To work with the Director of Product to deliver product vision and strategy for Sports products.To build excellent relationships with all of our internal and external customers in order to clearly understand and represent their business needs for each productTo gain a comprehensive understanding of our external business customers and their system needs through qualitative and quantitative analysisTo identify and research market opportunities through existing and cutting-edge technologies presenting findings and recommendations back to the Director of Product demonstrating the business value of the proposed solution.To drive product solutions with regards to goals, business case, functional requirements, design and user interfaceTo define product specifications using clear, consistent and unambiguous user stories and acceptance criteria with any supporting documentation requiredTo constantly update and prioritise product and business requirements using Roadmaps, Sprint and Product BacklogsTo work closely with Clients, Business Representatives, Engineers, Architecture, QA, Design, Project Management and Support teams during the release process to provide clarity around product feature definition, customer requirements and Sprint goalsTo track the business value of new features or enhancements using key performance indicators, reporting on ROI over agreed timeframes.To set an example to other members of the team on the shared ownership of all tasks required to complete good quality work for the delivery of product features and enhancementsTo actively participate in the development of a self-managing cross functional team where every member of a project or release believes that they are “all in this together”Must be able to work overtime as and when required including international travel and attending conference calls with international team members.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS)You will be fluent in EnglishYou will have proven commercial product management experienceYou will have proven experience of working in an Agile framework, SAFe will be an advantageYou will have proven experience within a B2C environmentYou will have proven experience of working on business to business software projectsYou will have experience in working with remote stakeholders and colleaguesYou will have strong quantitative & qualitative analytical abilitiesYou will have an interest in software / online technologiesYou will have a solid understanding of B2B and B2C technologiesPreferably educated to degree level or similarExperience with ecommerce Product Management will be an advantageExperience with the Ticketing industry will be an advantageExperience with Sporting Venues and/or Tournaments systems will be an advantageHolding a Certified Product Owner certification will be an advantageExperience working with remote teams will be an advantageYOU (BEHAVIOURAL REQUIREMENTS) Interest in learning new methodologies and processesExcellent presentation, written and oral communication skills with a strong emphasis on the ability to clearly communicate the user journeyAbility to assess broader and deeper impact of decisions, encouraging cross-functional brainstorming and project teamingEntrepreneurial drive with appreciation of business process analysis, user-experience, business, and commercial values.Must be able to work overtime when requiredMust be willing to travel on company businessEmbraces change with agility and adaptabilityLIFE AT TICKETMASTERWe are proud to be a part of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live entertainment company.Our vision at Ticketmaster is to connect people around the world to the live events they love.
