Summary Posted: Feb 9, 2024 Role Number: 200538050 The Apple EMEA Engineering team is looking for an outstanding Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead a team of technical staff support the Cork FATP manufacturing plant! This position requires a self-driven manager with experience in implementing and supporting world class equipment maintenance programs. The successful candidate must be familiar with working in a fast paced, challenging, production environment! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Knowledge in mechanical, electronic or mechatronic engineering Skills and knowledge in the implementation and support of equipment/asset management programs Experience with CMMS systems Experience in working in an operational environment, interacting with and supporting manufacturing and operations teams Experience in management and development of technical teams Working with & debugging manufacturing and test equipment and instrumentation Experience in the introduction of new equipment and technologies Strong problem solving and process improvement skills Strong documentation & interpersonal skills Must work well in a multi-functional team environment Engineering project management experience Familiarity with Apple hardware and software is a plus Statistical/Analytical skills beneficial Computing knowledge beneficial Description Description - Lead a team of technical staff in support of EMEIA product operations
- Work closely with Operations team in ongoing support and development of Cork FATP processes and equipment
- Represent engineering in operations forums and escalations
- Liaise directly with engineering project teams to assess requests for engineering support or resources
- Management and continuous improvement of CMMS system
- Manage preventative maintenance and audit plans, ensure equipment is fully maintained and safe for use
- Manage and continuously improve engineering KPIs within the manufacturing plant including; throughput, cost, efficiency, downtime and OEE
- Develop technical proficiencies within the team through individual development plans - Participate in NPI programs
- Act as key engineering point of contact for external audits. Education & Experience Education & Experience - B.Eng. (Hons) / M.Eng. in Manufacturing / Mechanical / Mechatronic/ Electronic / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Qualification in Technology / Business Management beneficial
