As a member of the Satellite Connectivity Group, you will work on the satellite network that enables connectivity to iPhone when off the grid without cellular or Wi-Fi coverage. Every day, Apple customers use Emergency SOS via satellite to access emergency assistance when they are in need of help and have no other means to communicate. The team is looking for an Electrical Hardware Test Engineer to support validation, design and testing for a large scale hardware project. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience with electrical hardware validation and basic lab instruments (oscilloscope, etc.) Experience with designing or testing one or more of the following electrical subsystems: power regulators, high speed digital signal integrity, microcontrollers Ability to read schematics and hardware datasheets Familiarity in automated production test Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills Description Description - Define and execute electrical validation tests based on component specifications - Collaborate with manufacturing teams on test coverage, design, implementation and execution - Work with engineers to debug and root cause test anomalies - Review test data, create test reports, define pass/fail criteria at qualification and production - Draw schematics and support PCB layout Education & Experience Education & Experience 1+ years experience in electrical validation roles Minimum BS Electrical Engineering or similar degree Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $208,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
