As the Analytics and Insights team Leader, you'll lead a team of data scientists, engineers, and analytics professionals in this evolving landscape.You will collaborate with partners company-wide, from product development to cost analysis and optimization. Data and insights are your product. Your will create, and maintain solid data pipelines that take us from raw data to insights for use by product managers, sales professionals, and engineering leadership. You will lead the data and insights activities across different strategic initiatives, contributing impactful input throughout the analysis, interpretation, and presentation stages to to meet Autodesk's value drivers.You will report to the Senior Director, Program and Business Excellence in PSET and manage a team of 20 professionals. This is a hybrid position and you can be located anywhere in the United States. Responsibilities Develop a clear vision and roadmap for using data analytics and insights to guide the platform’s strategic objectives, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across all levels of the organization. Lead and mentor a diverse team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, fostering learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Equip the team to meet evolving business and technology demands.Be the bridge between the analytics team and various company partners, aligning data initiatives with business goals. Facilitate open communication channels to comprehend partner needs and convert them into actionable data strategies.Partner with engineering groups across the company to lead cost optimization recommendations by analyzing usage patterns and implementing cost management best practices. Oversee developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. Promote the adoption of best practices in data management and governance. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in analytics and data science. Lead the exploration and adoption of new methodologies and tools to enhance analytical capabilities and deliver modern insights. Establish goals and measurements for the analytics function, ensuring the team's work aligns with Autodesk goals and delivers tangible value to the business. Foster a culture of accountability and evidence-based decision-making. Qualifications 10+ years of experience leading and developing teams with in an ability to inspire, empower, and foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and data engineering principles. Proficiency with data tools (Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, Fivetran (ELT), Cloud Platforms such as AWS and Azure, and MLOps) and programming languages (e.g., SQL and Python) is essential. Experience running ML models in production at scale is required. Experience solving problems by translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies. Experience communicating data insights at the executive level and to non-technical partners, facilitating effective collaboration and decision-making across diverse teams and disciplines. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. However, equivalent practical experience in data analytics or a related discipline is equally valued, reflecting our commitment to diverse educational pathways. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $170,000 and $275,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
