The service engineer will work closely with Sonos engineers in Asia and support the logistics service providers located across the world to implement NPIs, refurbishment and repair solutions for Sonos products while providing technical support for sustaining products. What You’ll Do...Collaborate with internal teams to ensure minimal disruption to the LSP production lines.Troubleshoot and provide root cause analysis on unplanned line downtimeCreate b-stock BOMs to support NPI, refurbishment and repair, create new sub-assemblies in Arena, manage sourcing and drawingsCreate detailed testing procedures, teardown and reassembly instructionsMaintain documentation on HPU’s, cycle times and station capacitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvement reducing touch times and ensuring rate card pricing is reflective of the latest timings to understand unit economicsMaintain the global harvesting playbook for components that can be recovered and reusedMonitor and report process yields on a weekly basis and meet with the LSP’s to review yields monthlyAnalyze screening data for RMAs found to have no defect.
