The Manager, Internal Communications is a key role within our wider Communications and Brand team. You will partner closely with senior leaders and executives across Clarivate to deliver communications plans that support their functions and our overall company goals. Developing a deep understanding of the functions you support as well as our overall strategy, you will design and deliver strategic communications that bring our purpose, vision, mission and values to life and connect the “big picture” to ongoing programs and initiatives to improve the overall colleague experience.A solid understanding of internal communications, complex change management and global organizational cultures are essential in this role. With a positive attitude you have a passion for technology, innovation and harnessing the power of human ingenuity to fuel big breakthroughs.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsStrong internal communications experience (5-7+ years), ideally with complex project and change communications within a large global, matrixed organization.A proven track-record of developing communications strategies, with methods to measure impact and effectiveness.Aware of methods to influence and sustain culture change and the way in which communication and colleague engagement supports this.The experience and confidence to work with C-suite executives, alongside the ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels.Flexible, responsive and agile approach, being able to demonstrate resilience to work within a fast-growing and fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and a high level of stakeholder pressure.Skilled at engaging and inspiring large, complex audiences, aligning the nuances of a message and channel with audience segments and cultures.Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills and the ability to translate complex business information into a clear and inspiring narrative.Bachelor’s degree, ideally in communications, journalism marketing or English.Fluency in English – written and spoken.What will you be doing in this role?Strategy, planning and business acumenBuild positive relationships and collaborate closely with key senior leaders, including C-level executives, to understand business requirements.Act as a trusted advisor, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to stakeholders to support them in effective communications techniques, content creation, channel selection and message delivery across a diverse, global audience.Leverage change management methodologies, processes and tools to create communication and engagement strategies to support adoption of the change.Identify strategic challenges and develop communications strategies and multi-channel plans that drive colleague engagement and support overall business and communications goals.Develop and monitor implementation of high-level internal communications calendar for selected functional projects and programs, ensuring alignment with corporate communications activity, both internal and external.Proactively highlight potential opportunities for improving communication, knowledge sharing and collaboration across individuals and teams.Creating and curating content and conversation across people and culturesProvide communications support for initiatives.Develop narrative, key messages and integrated communications plans for strategic/function-led campaigns and projects that are aligned to the broader corporate narrative, liaising with relevant stakeholders, such as Marketing, Communications and Brand, etc.Provide advice rooted in a depth of understanding about organizational cultures.Research, measure and demonstrate valueUtilize listening techniques to represent the colleague voice and communicate insights to senior leadership, with recommendations for appropriate action.Ensure all communication interventions to support business need are evidence-based and outcome-focused.Undertake research to determine root causes of communication issues and establish a fact-based approach.About the TeamThis role will report the Senior Director, Internal Communications working as part of an Internal Communications team based across the US and EMEA.Hours of WorkFull-time, permanent role.
