Our qualitative researchers come from a diverse mix of backgrounds: design research, anthropology, psychology, and applied cultural analysis. Our researchers are based in Copenhagen, our designers and product team are spread across Copenhagen, London and Dublin.We are responsible for translating research insights to influence design, product, and strategic business decisions. We’re passionate about crafting an outstanding research organization at Workday, known for delivering high quality and timely insights that help the product teams deliver solutions that support millions of employees around the world. Our product team is organized in groups of teams, directly aligned with strategic objectives. Our product development cycle is agile, and at the core of every product team is a “product trifecta”: a product manager, a product designer, and a tech lead. The UX researchers partner closely with each product group, hence they tend to focus their projects more on foundational and generative research and strategic research that informs the entire product group. We’re in the midst of democratizing research and upskilling the product trifectas, so that they are able to integrate user testing with real users at relevant steps along the development cycle, quicker, more efficiently and more often. In UXR, we play an important role in enabling the trifectas in this process.About the RoleYou will join the research and design team as part of the product team for Peakon Employee Voice, Workday’s continuous listening platform. You will be conducting research that helps us develop a first class user experience that impacts millions of users across the world - daily. The role is based in Copenhagen together with the entire research team, but your collaborating partners might be based in a mix of London, Dublin and Copenhagen. Your core tasks will be:Partner with strategic product groups and conduct research that purposefully informs their product decisionsCreate and maintain an efficient, meaningful research process together with the entire UXR teamOwn and triangulate research insights with Workday Research, to inform how Peakon and Workday integrate for most impact and valueYou will be empowered to own and craft a research roadmap for your product group, working closely with product, design, engineering, data science, and other relevant team members to ensure that research insights are anchored deeply across our whole product experience.Our ideal candidate has experience applying quantitative design research methods in a B2B product environment, e.g. surveys and product data analysis in Mixpanel or similar. You can analyze large data sets and triangulate with other relevant data, and are comfortable planning, leading and analyzing qualitative research. Stakeholder management is one of your core strengths and you naturally build and maintain strong and purposeful work relationships that keep people aligned, involved and enable them to reach their goals. Your ability to translate user insights to business goals is strong, and you are able to adjust your communication to fit the audience. You can demonstrate a consistent record of completing and leading sophisticated research projects and delivering high quality, impactful insights.
