Senior Performance Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities include :Performance Testing and Monitoring - Conduct various types of performance testing, including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing. Monitor system resources, such as CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network usage during testing and production.Analysis and Profiling : Use profiling tools to analyze code-level performance issues and collaborate with developers to address them.Scalability and Capacity Planning : Provide recommendations for improving scalability, such as optimizing database queries, caching strategies, and load balancing.Performance Tuning and Benchmarking : Optimize code, configurations, and database queries to enhance overall system performance. Compare results against industry standards and drive improvements.Automation and Documentation : Automate performance testing processes to ensure consistency and repeatability. Document performance testing processes, results, and recommendations. Communicate performance findings, risks, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.Mandatory Skillsets:JMeter (expert level)Java programming knowledge, JVM , GC Algorithms, Thread dump analysis, Heap dump analysis.Expertise in LinuxExpertise in identifying and analysing performance bottleneck.Understanding of micro service based application  Understanding of REST APIsExperience working on GCP, Azure, or any other cloud service provider (Azure preferred) KubernetesGood to Have Skillsets:Snowflake, postgresGrafana/PrometheusELKExposure to Python Shell scriptingSupply chain domain knowledge  Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
