We are seeking an enthusiastic Electronics Lab Technician to join our team and work on revolutionary products! This position entails working with the system engineering team as well as other cross-functional groups. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 4+ years of related experience in electrical engineering labs. Basic understanding of analog/digital circuits. Ability to conduct electrical rework and mechanical assembly based upon limited instruction. Ability to rework, repair and modify SMT PCB’s down to 0201/01005 package size. Excellent debugging, optimization and problem solving skills. Knowledge of Apple products and problem isolation Basic CLI usage Familiarity with scripting languages like Python/Perl is a plus. Passion, diligence, integrity, and exceptional aptitude. Team player with excellent conversational, written communication, and negotiation skills. Willingness and ability to learn new skills Description Description Upon joining our team as a Technician, you will be helping to build prototypes, PCBA assembly, rework and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for maintaining the electronic lab with required equipment and supplies. We are looking for an experienced technician with excellent hand soldering skills with the ability to work with fine pitch and small package components.
Assist in bring-up of prototypes.
Support engineers in troubleshooting failures to root cause.
Ability to understand schematics and manage sourcing of quick turn prototype boards.
Navigate PCB layout files and create detailed rework instructions if necessary.
Analyze data in excel/numbers, present data in clear manner.
Perform complicated reworks and or modifications of circuit boards or products.
Champion safety, security and quality.
Manage multiple demanding deadlines.
Be able to work across multiple teams to get things done. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $36.95 and $64.70/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
