The Opportunity We are the market leader in software products and services for the creative ecosystem with Creative Cloud, as well as for PDF document solutions with Document Cloud which brings in billions of dollars in revenue and has hundreds of millions of active users. Document Cloud is the world's leading PDF and e-signature tools solution integrated across desktop, mobile and web. It includes Acrobat Pro, Acrobat Sign and a portfolio of mobile apps and services that work standalone or integrate with 3rd party productivity apps, processes, and systems. (See Adobe.com) We are looking for an executive to significantly grow the Document Cloud business. Reporting to the Global SVP of Document Cloud, this executive will be responsible for spearheading the Document Cloud business strategy and marketing to grow the existing book of business as well as identify new sources of customer and revenue growth through market expansion. We see significant opportunity to expand our existing footprint across soloprenuers, micro-businesses, and SMBs to double the business over next few years.What you’ll doLead the global business strategy and product marketing function for Document Cloud (DC). Own the annual business outcome for the Document Cloud portfolio (e.g., # of seats add, NN ARR, retention rate, LTV, etc.)Define a clear vision for the Document Cloud business and the GTM strategy required to win. This includes: Category and Product marketing strategy, value proposition, messaging and positioning.Customer engagement strategies that drive value realization and retention Target segment and audience definition, priorities, and customer needs Pricing and packaging Total addressable market, market share, competitive assessment Distribution strategies including partnership ecosystem Directly manage a team across product marketing and go-to-market strategy. Develop a business strategy for existing products and find opportunities for new products and services based on a deep knowledge of the customer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape. This includes identifying strategic unlocks to win in a market / segment. Inspire and rally internal partners and collaborators around the Document Cloud opportunity and work together effectively to achieve common goals. Collaborate with partners in Product, Engineering, Design, Global Marketing and Sales to deliver truly amazing customer experiences. Understand emerging technologies, manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, from concept ideation, through socialization, planning, development, and deployment. What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have a track record of success and significant experience in complex, fast-paced SaaS environments. This individual will be a self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing industry and can scale a high-growth business. They will have demonstrated success in spearheading groundbreaking product and growth strategies that have proven business value. Finding opportunities to collaborate across multiple product lines, and successfully developing and mentoring talent will also be key. Additional qualifications include: Rich product marketing and business strategy experience in a scaled global business with a focus on serving consumer and SMB segments.Possess deep understanding of the product, is passionate and energetic about evolving and shaping the product to meet market opportunities.Track record for developing break-through strategies, inspiring excellent execution through across the organization and ultimately effectively driving growth.Proven success driving direct customer engagement programs that deliver increased product use, value realization and long-term retention and growth. Assess the effectiveness of marketing programs.Plan launches of net-new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation.Act as the primary thought leader, including speaking engagements and written works.Understand and support sales channels; train on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral.Data-driven; understands and has experience using customer and market data and research to create delightful end-to-end product experiences. Proven success in partnering, influencing, and collaborating internally and externally to establish shared passion and goals and drive flawless execution.At ease influencing peers, especially in product management and corporate marketing, senior executives, and sales teams. The U.S. pay range for this position is $181,900 -- $455,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
