DAAS Opportunity ConsultantDescription -  We are looking for a new colleague to be part of our contractual bid desk team. You will be working directly with account team, in general global and multi-country teams.  DaaS OC works closely with pursuit team and account team for getting the regional and contractual scope, with intention of offering info and recommendations to the pursuit team related to pricing.Also, you will offer continuous support for admin team of the account, through cost and margin analysis of that opportunity.  Working closely with other departments inside and outside the Bid desk, the DaaS OC owns the process of compliant data output provision, required for numerous administrative backbone processes.DaaS OC responsibilities:Due Diligence: Compare pursuit assumptions with current Delivery conditions e.g., changes, planning, deliverables, etc.Offer leadership for establishing adequate pricing offers and financial guidance, for allowing profitable business implementation for HP.Run pricing for initial offer, considering all details from customer negotiationsDesign for Profit: Provide PC Fleet Design support from a margin analysis perspective to PM / pursuit teamProvide account team with budget breakdown and control functions as needed.Adjusting pricing based on the initial negotiations is part of DaaS OC responsibility, along with the changes that might appear during contract durationSupport deal governance team by means of cost and margin analysis, towards target Profitability.Acts as an expert in pricing strategy, in price objective, in building the profit & loss image, in optimizing financials and final price to the customer.Support price, profit, win and risk approvers.Drives escalations when needed.Consults and gives feedback to the finance team.Ensures price is sent in due time and in accurate manner.Support development and improvement of pricing toolsFollow compliancy.Education and Experience required:Excellent influencing and communication skillsMust be fluent in English, ideally in other languages as wellTypically 5 years experience preferably in bid-desk, pricing analyst, consulting or finance.Knowledge and skills: Excellent abilities to work in ExcelStrong analytical, project management and leadership skillsAble to work on detailed financial level while seeing the "big picture" financial frame, judgement ability for commercial risks, financial modeling skillsStrong understanding of global finance, negotiation/contracting issues, and regulations (public sector experience desirable)Business and customer-oriented team player in multinational and complex environmentExcellent influencing and communication skillsAbility to resolve critical problemsFocus on customer relationships & engagement processProvide consulting on financial or contractual issuesContribute to and present proposalsVery good skills in operate the Office suiteJob -ServicesSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Romania)Travel -NoRelocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
