Principal Product ManagerDescription -Key ResponsibilitiesDefine a vision and roadmap for transcendent experiences for the HP product ecosystem, coordinate different product team goals and needs, and project manage the execution of that vision.Align numerous cross-vertical stakeholders to a product strategy for HP products, and drive a cadence with HP leadership and product teams to ensure we deliver effectively.Manage a pan-HP ecosystem workstream to move the product roadmap forward successfully.Incubate new experience concepts (0-to-1) using customer insights, competitive assessments, and sales/regional data, set success criteria and iterate based on learnings.Help refine our product incubation process and algin stakeholders to an agile methodology.Apply customer, technology, and experience knowledge for customer discovery, and help craft research, to gain the insights required to drive focused innovation and make effective product and experience tradeoffs.Articulate software and hardware requirements that will enable HP to provide a differentiated and powerful value propositions for commercial buyers and end users around the world.Engage with experts internally and externally to be the subject matter expert in both current and future technology in monitors, AI and notebooks.Effectively represent HP to external alliance partners to influence and ensure key ecosystem elements are in place to deliver all required customer experiences.Educations, Skills, and RequirementsMBA or equivalent experience required.7+ years of applicable experience in product management.Experience managing products, services, consumer/commercial electronics, and marketing plans is preferred.Excited by a blank canvas. Future product incubation is full of ambiguity.Experience building credibility with stakeholders, including designers and engineers, with an ability to understand technical systemsA proven track-record of delivering outstanding results, managing significant complexity and bold timelines. You have a bias-to-action and are not afraid to get your hands dirtySolid organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.Comfortable presenting to customers, executives, and internal audiences, adjusting your communication style based on your audienceA growth mindset. Must fearlessly acknowledge successes and setbacks, accept feedback, and quickly progress the team to the next step.Passion for learning and trying new hardware and software technologies and their associated workings, advantages, shortcomings, and application in customer use cases and experiences.Ability to work independently, effectively management time and priorities, maintain a “problem-solving” attitude, and resourcefully bring forward ideas and recommendations.Familiarity with AI assistants such as Copilot and ChatGPT a plus.
