Associate Software Developer-Cloud Solutions & Services (Co-op position)Description -HP Anyware is the inventor of the PCoIP remote display protocol and developed the Engineering Emmy-Award-winning HP Anyware to deliver the best virtual and remote desktop experience in the world. Our exciting growth and continuing success mean that we are looking for an energetic co-op student (Engineering or Computer Science) to join our Cloud Solutions & Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the integration of HP Anyware with public clouds and to improve how the solution is deployed in the cloud by our business partners and customers.  As part of the team, you will help shape how desktop computing is delivered in enterprise environments. Responsibilities: Development of infrastructure-as-code, such as Terraform and CloudFormation, and provisioning scripts in Bash, Powershell and Python to deploy HP Anyware in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. On-going maintenance of deployment scripts in response to new software versions, security patches, and feature changes in the cloud.  Testing of deployment scripts and development of automated testing and release infrastructure. Development and maintenance of the CI/CD in the cloud. Provide support for users of deployment scripts.  Requirements: Students who have completed at least 2 academic years.  Students who love to write code (ideally before they joined university), are not afraid to explore new technologies and cloud services.  Students who love to automate repetitive tasks with code.  Experience with infrastructure-as-code, scripting, automation tools, dev-ops, networking concepts will be ideal.  Experience cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP will be ideal.  Individuals who work well with others, think outside the box and see raising the bar as part of the daily routine.   Other Information:  Please upload a copy of your unofficial transcript and cover letter with your application.Strong consideration will be given to Co-op Students currently enrolled in a Master’s program.4 month work term, potential for extensions.Start date: May 2024 Full-time with possibility of extension and/or permanent career positions.The typical base pay range for this co-op role is $3,700 to 5,000 per month. Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills and internal equity.   HP’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion – it’s just who we are.
