You will join our Fusion 360 Design team to deliver performant 3D CAD capabilities to our customers, enabling them to design and make many of the products we see and interact daily.We are looking for an experienced and motivated software engineer to join our team. By joining Fusion Performance Team, you will contribute to improve Fusion graphics performance and quality and enhance graphics features. We can bring significant impact to the whole Fusion engineer team regarding quality and efficiency. This is a hybrid position in Pune, and you will report to Sr. Manager, Software DevelopmentResponsibilitiesGraphicsProfile and investigate graphics performance gaps, improve graphics performanceEnhance graphics features like visual style/effect, scene management and rendering to extend the experience around the graphics enginesTroubleshoot and debug graphics-related issues, providing solutions and optimizationsResearch and prototype new technology valuable to improve graphics and related areas performanceImplementationWork with Product Owner/Product Manager/Team to understand and help refine functional requirements for new products or upgrades and have a clear understanding of what definition of "done" isContribute to cost-benefit analysis by providing estimates for the features and determine feasibility of each featureDevelop high-quality, secure, stable code for use in products and graphics solutions for customersEnsure new code conforms to established coding standards and meet the design specificationsEnsure new code follows best security practicesTest newly developed features to ensure they are functioning properlyDocument new code and features developed, including changes to existing codeMinimum Qualifications5 years' experience with C++At least 3 years hands-on programming experience with computer graphics programmingAbility to quickly learn and understand graphics algorithmFluent and concise English communication, written and oralEducation: Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Graphics or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with OpenGL or DirectX preferredExperience with CAD software usage or development is a plusExperience with Unreal or Unity3D is a plus#LI-Hybrid#LI-CL1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
