Autodesk's Emerging Media and Entertainment Technology team is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to work on innovative projects that help our customers imagine, design, and make a better world. Reporting to our Director of Research, you will help us with implementing and improving ML models while applying best practices for AI Research. You'll apply ML methodologies and tools to a wide array of data and use cases and help shape the future of media and entertainment technology.ResponsibilitiesSupport research through building experimental pipelines and prototypesHandle data processing and preparation at scaleAnalyze model errors and design strategies for mitigationImplement and enhance new ML models and AI techniquesWork collaboratively on research projects within a globally-based teamConduct model training and hyperparameter tuningCollaborate with our Advanced Engineering team to implement AI solutionsMinimum QualificationsBSc. in a related AI/ML discipline, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics (or similar)3+ years working as a pipeline developer for VFX or Games production (applying machine learning techniques)Understanding of fundamental CS algorithms and their scaling behaviorsSkilled with data modelling, data architecture and network architectures, process automation, batch processing, artefact check-pointing, resilience managementCoding skills in Python and/or C++Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch (or other standard deep learning frameworks)Documentation skills for code and software architectureSelf-starter with an ability to find solutions and execute on problems independentlyComfort with ambiguity and the ability to learn and adapt in newly forming areasDemonstrated skills in presenting information visuallyPreferred QualificationsWe appreciate experience in one or more of the following:Computational geometry and geometric methodsBackground in statistical methods for Machine LearningDeep Learning techniques (Network architectures, regularization techniques, learning techniques, loss-functions, optimization strategies)Diffusion modelsMulti-modal deep learning or information retrievalAdvanced university degree in a related AI/ML field (PhD or MSc.)#LI-CD2#LI-HybridLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
