Job Requisition ID #24WD75680Responsibilities: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Serve as a key developer of a new services platform. Work with manager to design core infrastructure, DevOps tooling, and observability integrations. Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs. Collaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance. Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates. Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems. Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development. Drive and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring team in best practices. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved. Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently. Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintainable software. Focus on scalability, security and availability of all applications and processes. Contribute to risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture. Contribute to technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resource, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements. Telecommuting is permitted. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sited throughout the U.S.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field followed by 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sited throughout the U.S.Special Requirements: Position requires at least 6 years of experience in each of the following skills:Utilize knowledge of CAD/PLM and C/C++ knowledge to keep user files in sync with desktop and Cloud drive; Utilize knowledge of company identity and C/C++ to manage secure single sign-on user Identity for all desktop applications;Utilize knowledge of multiple operating systems including MS windows, Apple MacOSX and Linux to develop and port products/Libraries; Utilize knowledge of AWS cloud and .Net technology for company metering (charges based on usage) of products;Utilize knowledge of AWS cloud, Ruby, Nodejs and groovy to design and develop licensing and subscription management software; Utilize knowledge of AWS cloud caching services to server user associated entitlements and improve software performances.Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $169,400 - $195,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
