Job Requisition ID #24WD75681Responsibilities:Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for Autodesk products. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Own applications from end-to-end, from your local machine all the way through production. Design, develop, re-factor, optimize, and enhance solutions that enable key business functions; Implement responsive web applications. Ensure full-stack software solutions are architected and delivered using industry-leading DevOps best practices and technologies. Work on some of the most complex challenges in large scale computing by utilizing your skills in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming to automate manual enterprise operations tasks and optimize business processes that reduce workloads and create organizational efficiencies. Create reusable automation libraries, patterns and APIs that can be shared across the enterprise on a unified platform. Work on automation opportunities across various domains and business systems as the need arises. Work with open source tools, rich dashboards and implement proactive monitoring solutions; Optimize and support our existing public cloud or data center-based solutions and workloads. Cross-team collaboration and coordination to ensure reliable, secure, available and scalable releases. Communicate effectively and responsibly in an Agile environment. Mentor other engineers and deeply review code. Telecommuting is permitted. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineering-related occupation. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $181,272 - $193,100/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
