Job Requisition ID #24WD75685Responsibilities:Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Mine and analyze usage data to help product managers understand specific customer usage patterns and trends. Work closely with product groups to define, track and report key metrics and performance indicators that measure overall product health. Partner with individual product teams on projects and initiatives that can benefit from data-driven insights (eg. using A/B testing to inform product design). Improve data literacy across the product organization and help establish standards for making data-informed decisions. Working knowledge of ETL best practices for transactional usage data collected from customers (eg. Optimize poor performing queries, DAG design, etc). Coach, train and mentor junior product analysts on the team. Cross functional collaboration with other groups within the ACS analytics team and the wider ACS organization, including collaborating with data scientists (to develop predictive models that will serve product teams), business analysts (to surface product-related metrics to executives), data engineers (to optimize data flow to stakeholders), and researchers and industry strategists (to validate qualitative findings).  Some telecommuting is permitted. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a data analysis-related occupation. Some telecommuting is permitted. Special Requirements:Position requires at least 1 year of experience in each of the following skills:Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases and transform the output through data processing techniques. Use business acumen and deep understanding of product workflows to perform analyses that solve ambiguous and complex business questions.Collaborate with cross-functional groups on projects to ensure data is authored and maintained with accountability and integrity. Apply statistical principles and experimental design to design and execute A/B test, aiming to promote data-driven decision making for product feature optimization.Position also requires at least some experience in each of the following skills:Leverage BI tools to produce intuitive and actionable visualizations and reports to monitor key business performance.Utilize Python/R to conduct data mining, exploratory data analysis, and build machine learning model to uncover significant insights that inform and guide key business decision-making processes. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $132,100 - $198,100/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
