Job Requisition ID #24WD75686Responsibilities: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements. May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Work collaboratively on an Agile scrum team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies. Partner closely with product managers, UI designers, software architects and other stakeholders to iteratively turn high level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to customers incrementally and continually. Participate in code and document reviews. Practice continuous learning and actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions as a presenter and as an attendee. Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software. Support the products and services we build by participating in an on-call rotation with your teammates. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.Minimum Requirements:Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Telecommuting is permitted.Special Requirements:Position requires at least one (1) academic semester of graduate-level coursework or some experience in each of the following skills:Utilize web development technologies and framework: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS to develop frontend applications.Utilize backend technologies and frameworks like COBOL/JCL to build stable and effective web application.Utilize Database Management Systems IBM DB2 to improve data sharing, security, integrity and provide concurrency, backup, and recovery for the data.Utilize functional and object-oriented programming concepts to design and implement solutions to various problems. Effectively collaborate with the team during the pair programming and code review sessions.Utilize algorithmic design paradigms to tackle complex problems and write effective and optimized codes.Utilize foundations of software engineering concepts like refactoring, debugging, testing, integration on an existing codebase and deployed the application to cloud based services like Heroku.Utilize agile methodology software development life cycle model to provide high quality code by effectively collaborating in a small agile team.Utilize ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) process and extracted data from different sources into Neo4j Database to create knowledge graph and provided recommended learning path to the users. Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,368 - $160,100/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
