Job Requisition ID #24WD75233Position OverviewThis position is responsible for reporting and reconciling incoming payments on a world-wide basis.  Ensures timely and accurate cash postings.  Assists in the generation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting reports.  Creates and posts journal entries.  Ensures month end / quarter end close deadlines are met.  Assists with company acquisitions and establishes processes to incorporate AR into Autodesk systems.         We are looking for someone ideally in the Denver area who can go into the office 3 or 4 days a month.ResponsibilitiesProcess cash receipts timely and accurately (lockbox, checks, wires)Reconciliation of accounts receivable sub ledgers to the general ledgerParticipate in the facilitation of banking and credit card processing relationshipsAssist with the close for the regional entity and consolidated as neededPreparation of account reconciliationsAssistance in the preparation of management reports and audit schedulesParticipate on special projects to automate cash application world wide and to streamline other AR processesImplement and document processes and procedures as required including Sarbanes Oxley complianceInteract with treasury, sales support, customers, customer service, revenue accounting, customer financial services, and outsource vendorsRepresents the Company and the department in day-to-day activities with both internal and external auditors, providing documentation as required, and information regarding the status / activities relating to accounts under reviewProcess credit card payments and resolve credit card issuesIdentify and correct invoices that have not posted to accountingMain contact for invoicing vendorsMaintenance of receivables sub-ledger and supporting schedulesReconcile daily cash reportsAssists in the creation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts and reportsProvide support to CFS staff as requiredProcess cash received from employees for option exercisesPost non-AR checks to g/l (rent, employee shipping, etc.)Assist in reviewing orders over a certain scopeAssist in reviewing press releases and other external communication to identify potential revenue recognition issuesMinimum QualificationsBA/BS3+ Years of ExperienceExcel Knowledge RequiredLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $63,200 and $109,120. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
