Job Requisition ID #24WD75079Position OverviewThe Events team within Autodesk's Brand & Creative organization delivers world-class experiences that strengthen engagement and relationships with Autodesk. That includes events that are live, digital, and hybrid, from customer briefings and Autodesk brand activations to our Flagship conference offerings.We're looking for the next member of our team to manage editorial content, short form video production, and content marketing that support our flagship customer event, Autodesk University, and Autodesk's go-to-market kickoff, One Team Conference. You'll partner with the Director of Flagship Events to develop editorial strategies that increase engagement, awareness, and understanding of important programs.Location: This is a hybrid role with remote location potential.ResponsibilitiesCreate copy for different marketing deliverables, including brochures, online content, corporate collateral, customer success stories, high-level corporate initiatives, corporate newsletters, and gallery type display copyBe a primary writer for customer success stories used at corporate and industry events, posted online, and distributed across multiple marketing channelsConduct interviews with customers and write gallery style copy for corporate briefing centers, events, and other Brand programsWork with editors, designers, project managers, and internal partners to manage content that includes standard editorial, social and blog content, short form media, and moreMaintain understanding of Autodesk market segments, both from technology and business perspectivesComply with the Autodesk tone and voice and editorial guidelinesAssist in the articulation of the Autodesk brand identity guidelinesOffer brainstorming services on special projects, including naming sessions, event projects, and internal communication projectsContribute to content workflow improvements, i.e., creation and maintenance of templates, workflow models, and tracking systemsManage trafficking and flow of assigned writing, editing, and media production projectsParticipate as a member of an extended team, using teleconferencing, web conferencing, and other technologies to collaborate on individual projects and strategic initiativesEdit copy for different corporate marketing deliverables, ensuring they meet established guidelines for tone, voice, and editorial styleProvide editorial oversight for outsourced materials (e.g., BOM, events)Provide editorial support for corporate and horizontal initiatives (success stories, Autodesk Gallery, Sustainability, Autodesk University, OTC, and so forth)Candidate will report to the Director, Flagship Events and be a necessary member of the Brand Events organization, collaborating with Engagement Marketing, Event Operations, and Brand Experiences5+ years of editorial experience, including content marketing, social media, video production best practices, and web publishingExperience working in a large, matrixed organizationComfort tracking and managing deadlinesExperience managing collaborative relationships and informing shared marketing objectivesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $85,400 and $147,290. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
