Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.At Genesys, we allow our employees to make their mark by entrusting them to make decisions and do what they’ve been hired to do: their very best.   As the Principal Product Manager on the Business Analytics and Journey Insights team, you will be responsible for Genesys' Cloud’s Journey Management product roadmap, including defining, designing, delivering, and scaling the Journey Management products.  You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and are expected to work cross-functionally with product/development teams and business/partner leaders. Your leadership, business acumen, and technical skills will be critical in helping Genesys further its leadership position in customer experience orchestration with rich insights.   Genesys is looking for a highly motivated and talented leader with a strong combination of soft and hard skills. An ideal candidate is a seasoned Product Management professional with a deep understanding of customer journeys, analytics, business intelligence, and data management.   More specifically, will have a deep understanding of data infrastructure technologies, machine learning/artificial intelligence concepts, and data integrations. The candidate will have a proven track record of successfully driving complex, data-driven enterprise products in the analytics and/or BI space from concept to market leadership. The candidate will have demonstrated ability to lead with authority, will enjoy planning and directing work, and will have a passion for using business insights to help solve user problems.  Key Responsibilities Define and execute the product requirements and roadmap for Journey Management products in alignment with the broader strategy and market trends. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate product vision into detailed requirements, user stories, and feature specifications, ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements. Collaborate on the development and maintenance of robust data infrastructure, including first and third-party data sources, data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes, to support scalable analytics solutions.  Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility Serve as the subject matter expert on Journey Management, staying up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies in data management, analytics, and AI, incorporating relevant advancements into our product. Collaborate with ecosystem partners and third-party vendors to drive innovation with data and enhance the platform capabilities while ensuring data quality and data governance structures are met. Minimum Requirements A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, Applied Math, or any other related field. 10+ years of prior relevant experience Strong organizational skills. Experience managing cross-functional project teams Strong written and verbal communication skills, and eager learner Proven ability to communicate to a technical and non-technical audience Experience in AI / Machine Learning technology and Big Data Experience working with data integrations, APIs, and third-party data sources Strong background in analytics, BI, and data management, with hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, or visualization tools. Desirable skills MBA, or similar advanced business/technical degree  10+ years of experience with data analytics and/or data science Experience in collecting competitive intelligence, market requirements, and developing strategies and business cases per market segments  Understanding of the Agile Development and Enterprise Processes Experience with agile software development, such as Scrum and Kanban. Experience in Cloud solutions and operations Experience with data definition languages such as JSON-LD, YAML, Avro, etc. #LI-PS1#remoteCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
