Are you looking for a way to put your technical knowledge to use by researching and analyzing cutting edge technologies?Join our team!  We are looking for a motivated and independent Patent Analyst to work with us in support of a Search contract with the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).About you - experience, education, skills and accomplishmentsU.S. citizens or work-eligible legal residentsMust have continuously resided in the U.S. for at least the two previous yearsAbility to obtain a Public Trust ClearanceBachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or chemical arts with a focus on organic chemistry and/or polymers2+ years of patent-examining or patent-searching experience in chemistry or chemical artsWould be great if you also had...Master's degree or higher in Chemistry or related fieldExperience developing a search methodology and conducting text and structure searches using STN or SciFinderIn-depth knowledge of technical literature in the areas of chemistry and chemical structuresWhat will you be doing in this role?Read a search request quickly and understand the technical nuances which may be found in the prior artPerform a comprehensive search to ensure the most relevant prior art is located and provide a logical and complete search historyPrepare a written search report setting forth the most relevant prior art to the requestMaintain proficiency with commercial patent searching databases and other proprietary databases of technical publicationsStay abreast of best practices and changes to search procedures via self-directed review of materials provided by Clarivate and USPTOMaintain consistent timeliness and superior quality of deliverablesEnsure compliance with Clarivate’s Code of Business Ethics and Corporate ConductHours of WorkFull time, PermanentThis position is fully remote in the United StatesCompensation - US OnlyThe expected base salary for this position is $,57,600-86,400 USD per year.  This role is eligible for (incentive or bonus) earnings.  Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors. In addition to a competitive remuneration package, you will be eligible to participate in a benefits package that includes medical, dental, prescription drug, life insurance, 401k with match, long term disability coverage, vacation, sick time, volunteer time, discount programs, and many more. #LI-Remote#LI-LPClarivate is an Equal Opportunity Employer Vets/Minorities/Women/Disabled
