We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.The Role Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the dynamic and strategic Senior Director, Field Marketing will define and deliver our marketing strategy to support the attainment of annual sales revenue objectives across 20 countries in the EMEA region.The Senior Director:Drives management of segmented value propositions, digital awareness and demand generation and brand preference to achieve commercial outcomes for the region.Drives revenue growth through marketing-enabled sales, account expansion and targeting of new segments for the EMEA Region.Plays a pivotal role in defining and supporting the interlock process between global, regional and field marketing managers.Ensures that local requirements and insights are shared with other marketing functions in a structured and timely fashion, program design and delivery are aligned to global frameworksKey responsibilities:Develop and implement regional marketing strategyDevelop and lead the formulation and execution of marketing plans and strategies across the EMEA regionImplement and supervise effective and customer-led marketing plans in service to sales goals mobilizing Field Marketing teams and various marketing functions in region to activate these plans by working closely across all sales motions: Field Sales, Mid-Market, Opportunity Development etc, focusing on deal closureDrive demand generation by leveraging both digital marketing (web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising) and non-digital campaigns (events, telemarketing, speed-dating) to generate leads within new segments and expansion opportunities within existing accounts throughout the regionActivate ABM strategies in all regional markets by formulating and implementing comprehensive ABM strategies aligned with business objectives to engage and nurture accounts throughout the customer journey - both net new acquisition and expansion.Drive consistency in messaging in EMEA, aligned with global messaging, by applying corporate communications, brand and contentCreate and execute campaigns that effectively target segments with relevant product and solutions to drive cross-sell and up-sell plus new product introduction following the guiding principle of our One Global Marketing plan.Build and scale process-based marketing capabilitiesEnsure global consistency: Implement global processes and systems across EMEAEnhance marketing performance: Improve performance orientation by setting and measuring business-aligned performance targets particularly revenue and pipeline generation goals.Ensure effective rollout of global programs to achieve scale and enhance the global customer experience across very country in the regionChampion an innovative and collaborative culture Drive efficient and at-scale relationships: Run external agencies and relationships with marketing services, sales and other groups to achieve effective and efficient regional outcomesInterlock with field sales leaders to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities, making adjustments to changing market conditions and emerging opportunitiesBuild and support a culture of segmentation and testing to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of field marketing programs development for each sales modelKnowledge and experience sought:Substantial experience in a field and/or account-based marketing leadership role in a digital infrastructure organization or infrastructure software enterpriseDemonstrated experience of leading and running strong, diverse marketing team of a si similar scale (20+) across multiple countries in EMEAConsistent track record of working with sales to meet or exceed annual growth targetsProven experience of leveraging modern B2B marketing tools such as ABM and Agile GTM to drive outcomesBroad experience of marketing to a breadth of customer segments (both new and existing) across enterprise and mid-market and industries including network and mobile providers, Cloud and IT services, content providers, and financial services companiesString understanding of digital tactics and how to strategically employ them in an overall demand generation approachSkills and Attributes:Strong intellect ideally with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business-related fieldConsistent record in seeing the ‘bigger long-term picture’ and thinking strategically while achieving short-term resultsTight-knit collaboration skills and confirmed ability to work cross-functionally with diverse business unit leaders and outstanding ability to influence and cultivate deep relationships with a range of internal stakeholders (especially sales) in order to drive customer valueDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasivelyProactive, transparent and inclusive 'in-service' authentic leadership style able to work comfortably in a non-hierarchical, matrixed context comprising a broad range of collaborators.Inspirational leader adept at inspiring behavior change through motivating teams, planning initiatives, designating priorities, and being decisive when faced with ambiguityEquinix is an equal opportunity employer.
