If that sounds intriguing to you, then let's talk. The Display Hardware team is a multi-disciplinary team forming part of the wider Apple Hardware Technology organization. We are pursuing ground-breaking hardware development to enable future products and features that enrich the lives of our customers. We are looking for an exceptional multi-disciplined engineer with experience coordinating and leading multidisciplinary teams through all stages of product development. You will work on hardware projects to help us productize new technologies and deliver exciting new products. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Strong technical background in a relevant field, for example electronic, mechanical or optical engineering Experience working across multiple functions and providing technical leadership Experience working with technology providers and manufacturers through a product development cycle Able to operate amongst uncertainty while communicating and managing risks to optimize for the best outcome Excellent communication and collaboration skills Willingness to pick up novel tasks and acquire novel skills A scientific mindset and approach to problem solving An innovative mindset is essential Description Description A successful candidate will lead a multi-functional team in developing new technologies with many unknowns. The candidate must be able to understand and prioritize risks, translating them into actions and timelines with clear requirements and goals. Good communication and collaboration are critical. An ability to understand and holistically evaluate designs across electronic, mechanical and optical engineering will be key to a successful outcome. Education & Experience Education & Experience BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Occasional international travel required. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
