Description Description The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate deep understanding of multi-function operational processes and will act as a strategic thinker who can ‘connect the dots’ of the bigger picture, while being comfortable in the details in the deliverables.
•Provide broad focus and flawless execution of transportation initiatives which improve upon convenience, speed, clarity, cost, and coverage.
•Define success criteria for the outbound logistics roadmap, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reporting and metrics are established and measured.
•Support the team in strategic benchmarking and develop proposals for future enhancements, providing clear and efficient updates on progress to the executive team.
•Lead seamless and effective communications with partners in the WorldWide Logistics organization, fostering strong partnership and knowledge of engagements between global and regional teams.
•Collaborate with business and technical teams to determine process and system requirements, identify dependencies, and deliver on capital and non-capital projects.
•Partner with global teams to identify and execute upgrades, process automation, and productivity improvements which allow the operation to keep pace with sales growth and benefit from economies of scale.
•Provide end-to-end general management insights and leadership to the cross-functional teams, ensuring success in key logistics programs such as fast online fulfillment, trade-in, and multi-channel programs which include immediate delivery, ship from store, and pickup from store.
•Liaison with the Operations teams to ensure organizational readiness and excellent customer service is at the core of every delivery initiative and functionality.
•Support overall strategic direction of the organization and develop a strong talent management philosophy for the team. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics or related field required. MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
