EHS Specialist 3Description -Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.Responsibilities: Responsible for managing projects covering the EHS portfolio within a sub-region or complex site.Manages and performs the daily operations of projects, including: customer inquiries, program support, and communicating with local authorities.Responsible for implementing training programs and communications to targeted employees.Manages projects to stay within budget.Develops and manages EHS programs that have a multi-site to country-wide impact; participates in strategic planning for the job family.Interacts with and makes presentations to corporate function, affected business functions, and local authorities.Responsible for maintaining management systems at sites (including documentation).Respond to worker's counsel requests/issues (in locations where required by law).Assures emergency response programs are in place and in compliance with legislation.Education and Experience Required: First level university degree in related science field recommended.Typically 4-6 years of experience in a related field recommended.Knowledge and Skills: Deep knowledge of legislation and HP regulations governing a state, province, country, or sub- region.Strong technical abilities.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Good project management skills.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Good strategic thinking and business acumen.Good ability to operate in high stress environments.Job -Corporate AdministrationSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Chile)Travel -25%Relocation -Not SpecifiedEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
