Job Requisition ID #24WD75372Position OverviewThe Channel Sales team is looking to add a new Partner Manager to our team. You will act as a liaison between VARs/VADs and Autodesk to facilitate joint execution of customer plans, open communications, and healthy business relationships and will report to the LATAM Channel Manager for the region. The focus of this role will be to take a leadership position within assigned Channel Partners through enabling, influencing, coaching, and motivating partner executives and sales teams. You will need to motivate and align with our partners. The Partner Manager will also help identify and formulate recommendations to help us solve partners' business challenges that are limiting their ability to expand and grow their Autodesk business. A successful Partner Manager is viewed as a trusted Autodesk Sales Manager by partner leaders and sales teams while creating growth and expansion of their Autodesk business.You will be based in a home-office + Autodesk office environment in Mexico.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and support sales activities with partners, set targets/milestones, measures results, supports executionUnderstand partners' business and organizational structureEnsure common vision between Autodesk and partnersWork with partners to help identify areas of investment and support executionOversee contractual requirements with partnersEnsure assigned Partners understand product and marketing information and is capable to represent Autodesk in relevant industries, products, services and strategiesEnsure partners are utilizing Autodesk sales tools as part of quarterly executionCoordinate joint execution of quarterly sales plans with extended Autodesk sales teamsAssist and hold Partners accountable to execution of defined quarterly sales plans via partner sales rep mentoring and situational coachingIdentify causation of over/under performance by partners through a variety of methods (pipeline management, observation, feedback) and modifies plans accordinglyDevelop recommendations to improve partner's sales strategies, coverage, and capabilitiesMinimum QualificationsMinimum 7 - 10 years of work experienceBachelor degree or sufficient experienceKnowledge of channel management principalsMotivate without direct authorityProficient in EnglishFlexible, able to operate in constant changing environmentPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Autodesk solutions and industries servedExperience in a customer-facing sales or services-oriented roleKnowledge of sales processes and sales management principalsThe Ideal CandidateYou value accountability: You are committed and make sure others do the same.
