We put people first, celebrate diversity, drive innovation, and do good in the communities where we live and work.About the RoleThe Manager of Workday Success Plans (WSP) Engagement Managers (EM) will lead a team of EMs in managing WSP projects, coordinating the delivery of packaged services to customers of all sizes and industries around the world. The person in this role will also monitor project delivery and fixed fee budgets, while driving to our financial commitments as an organization. WSP Engagement Managers drive the execution of projects, ensuring success, efficiency, and quality via project management practices (e.g., create project staffing plan, coordinate system access, conducting meetings, etc.) and by managing the customer relationship for the duration and under the terms of the projects. Within these projects, Engagement Managers serve as an advocate for Workday, our employees and our customers in equal measure, ensuring projects are completed under budget and on time per the definition of each service.Responsibilities include:Overseeing the management of projects for the delivery of WSP programs and services as outlined above. Clearly and effectively communicating WSP objectives and project delivery strategies.Becoming an expert in WSP offerings and leverage this to support customers.Innovating the way we deliver high volume, concurrent, and short duration projects.Demonstrating competency in the Workday product suite - HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials.Participating in customer meetings when requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach, and assist in developing a proposal.Review and communicate quarterly goal and incentive informationProviding guidance and mentoring to Engagement Managers, working closely with them to assess skillsets and determine training plansReview and communicate quarterly goal and incentive informationEnsuring projects are properly planned and staffed.Contribute to the recurring review of forecast and project dataContribute to annual budget planning; including owning and recruiting against an annual headcount budgetEnsuring customers can serve as a reference upon completion of their project.About YouBasic Qualifications10+ years of systems project management experience3+ years experience building and leading teamsProven track record implementing Workday Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applicationsOther QualificationsExcellent organization, time management, verbal and written communication skillsPassion for customer serviceBusiness development skillsEngagement Management experience either as an internal EM or with a consulting/software companyExperience managing a book of business with positive financial resultsWorking knowledge with at least one of the following business areas: Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Services procurementCapable of influencing, interacting and collaborating with senior executives, internally and externallyAbility to travel up to 20%Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
