Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role: As the Senior Director of Public Relations and Media Strategy, you will develop and implement an aggressive go-to-market, earned media strategy to support the next phase of CrowdStrike’s high-growth journey. Reporting to the Global Head of Communications, this critical role will be focused on using public relations as a strategic and proactive driver of CrowdStrike’s global communications efforts.  This senior role requires a leader and bold storyteller that can manage all aspects of a proactive media relations program that supports all areas of the business, including platform and technology, international growth, corporate profiles and the partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing the PR team and network of agency partners to bring forward a coordinated plan that aligns with the business and drives clear narratives in the market.CrowdStrike views public relations and media as a strategic enabler of the business. This is an amazing opportunity to take a world-class communications program and help shape its continued and future success.What You’ll Do:Coordinate across global teams to develop and implement an aggressive and strategic PR and media strategy aligned with business objectives.Work with the Global Head of Comms to create and drive narrative in the industry.Manage all aspects of the PR program to deliver a single view of the comms strategy and business impact. This includes platform and technology, international growth, corporate profiles and the partner ecosystem.Manage a comprehensive network of global agencies to drive clarity and focus on delivering results that matter. Support key parts of the business with dedicated, always-on media engagement.Deliver strategic communications counsel to internal executives on both short and long-term challenges and opportunities.Build a sustainable PR program that is focused on winning the ‘big moments’ and crushing the ‘basics.’  Every award, speaking opportunity and media interview should be viewed through a strategic lens.What You’ll Need:A history of securing top tier media placements that articulate a clear narrative and understanding of the business.Bold storytelling and execution. Driving impact media placements that support critical business initiatives.A proactive mindset – constantly thinking about how we can tell the CrowdStrike story in a differentiated and dynamic way.Demonstrable skill at managing high-profile media opportunities with the ability to drive action.An unflappable nature and the ability to pivot quickly as needed, showing good judgment in high-pressure situations.A mastery of writing for impact. From press releases to thought leader content, come with a PoV that drives narrative, clearly articulates value and moves markets.An ability to capture the voice of the customer.A history of working with top tier business, trade and vertical press in the business and cybersecurity worlds –- with demonstrable success.Be able to manage up to executive staff to set strategy and expectations, while giving teams the focus and support needed to deliver results.An owner / operator mindset. You need to be able to motivate and put the team in a position to execute and succeed, and be equally willing to do the work individually.Qualifications: 10-14+ years of experience in creating and executing on strategic public relations initiatives designed to drive narrative and impact.Extensive proven management experience in a high-growth cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS company. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $190,000 - $280,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
