The successful candidate will work collaboratively across levels of the organization to support the development of market data and insights and perform ongoing reporting and assessment of marketing performance. The individual will have a pivotal role in developing tableau dashboards to enable insights on current performance and future growth of marketing strategy and performance Responsibilities: Support ongoing development of tableau dashboards to enable marketing to measure its performance Aid in ensuring consist data accuracy and accurate data reporting through the development of tableau dashboards Identify gaps in sources and support the development of a prioritized plan for refinement and improvement of measurement of marketing performance Lead the collation of key marketing analytics data needed for the marketing function Collate and distribute consistent views that can serve as platform for marketing to provide commentary on business performance. Engage in feedback and analytics and visualization improvement for quarterly reviews to identify additional marketing analytics data and views needed to assess quarterly performance. Acts as a business partner and collaborator to marketing stakeholders in assessing data and driving market insights Act as a steward and thought partner in assessing existing and new metrics to measure and improve marketing performance. Supports the socialization of data driven insights. Actively engages with functional stakeholders to understand data needs and develop appropriate solutions. Advocates for consistent, robust and auditable marketing data and insights that are recognized as the “source of truth”. Designs and conducts ad hoc marketing analysis. Requirements: 3+ years’ experience with time spent developing tableau dashboards to deliver key insights Demonstrated understanding of how to integrate concepts from marketing, market research, and finance. Tactical understanding of how to aggregate and integrate diverse datasets (i.e., customer segmentation, financial performance) to develop key metrics, analytics, and insights Excellent skills in converting complex data problems into simple data visualizations using tableau. Translate stakeholder needs into a requirement document. Preference for those who have a modest understanding of more advanced data aggregation tools (e.g., Python, R) and/or MySQL experience Demonstrated ability to deliver business results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment Preference for those Life sciences, diagnostics and/or research experience Preference for data science backgrounds Strong communication and presentation skills with keen business acumen Strong understanding of Marketing performance measurement Ability to think and plan strategically and balance that with execution and delivery Education: · BA/BS (science, business, decision sciences, math or econ/finance) The estimated base salary range for the Sr. Business Data Analyst role based in the United States of America is: $96,500 - $144,700. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
