NVIDIA's Cloud data centers host ground-breaking products across high-performance computing to machine learning applications for autonomous vehicles and healthcare. At the heart of our data centers is the ability to engineer mechanical and electrical designs in close coupling to NVIDIA's industry-leading GPU and DGX products. We are seeking a data center HMI and Controls Intern to participate in the design, development, and optimization of HMI systems and CDUs control for data centers applications.What you'll be doing:Collaborate with multi-functional team to define the requirements of HMI systems for data center applications.Design and develop intuitive and user-friendly HMI interfaces for optimum monitoring and controlling CDUs.Chip in to the development and improvement of a CDU control system for innovative and adaptive DC cooling solutions.Engaged with the controls engineering team to implement improvements and optimize CDU performance.Participate in HMI system validation, ensuring reliability, responsiveness and user-friendly system.Document and coordinate the process of HMI development including specifications, user manuals, and tabulate troubleshooting.Prepare and deliver technical presentations at reviews and team meetings.What we need to see: Currently pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.Familiarity with HMI development tools and control system principles.Knowledge working with direct-to-chip cooling technologies.Ability to work with various electrical, mechanical, electronic & thermal lab test equipment.Having software programming capability in Python, Matlab.Knowledge of various Coolant distribution units and other heat exchangers.Ways to stand out from the crowd: Learn and apply new skills quickly.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and partnership skills.Persistently drive tasks and projects to successful completion.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
