The architect will apply advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex issues and will directly contribute to the development of innovative solutions and methods.Responsibilities: Develops aggressive and optimized audio solutions for new laptops. Includes system floor planning, audio speaker layout, and component and technology selections.Influences strategic suppliers on solutions that enable delivering differentiated products for HP customers.Develops strategy and technology roadmaps for audio solution design and development engineering across the Global Business Unit and company at large.Communicates strategy and technology roadmaps to executive staff, industry partners and customers; leverages recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision- making at the highest organizational levels.Provides consultation, design input, and feedback for new product development and design reviews across multiple organizations and architectures.Guides and mentors less- experienced staff members to set an example of electrical hardware design and development innovation and excellence.Participates in and provides input on process for selection of future technical leaders.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Electrical Engineering.Typically 15+ years of experience.Knowledge and Skills: Industry expert regarding development of audio solutions for PC clients. Knowledge of full PC system dynamics and their impact/interaction with audio solutions.History of innovation with multiple patents in the field of electronics and hardware design.Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at the most senior organizational levels.Job -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
