Our team is looking for a PR & Social Media Manager to increase awareness of SoundHound AI’s brand, products, leadership team, and workplace culture using social and traditional media. Working directly with the Director of Corporate Communications, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering communications campaigns that target SoundHound AI’s key audiences across customers, prospects, investors, and influencers. This is a rare opportunity to work across the spectrum of corporate communications, including strategy and messaging, social content, press announcements, executive thought leadership, influencer campaigns, webinars, newsletters, awards, and more.   You will have experience running integrated campaigns across public relations and social media. You will have excellent written communications (including articles, blogs, and social content) and an instinct for engaging story angles that can be used for pitching the media and/or posts across our core social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, TikTok). Though you need not be a subject matter expert at the outset, the right person will quickly become well-versed in SoundHound AI’s technology and the broader public narratives around AI. In this role, you will: Develop a social media strategy and manage channels, content, campaigns, and day-to-day activities. Manage public relations processes and core documentation – including trackers, media lists, speakership and award applications, monitoring, executive briefings, and newsletters.   Pitch product and customer news and cultivate relationships with reporters across multiple publications, including business, technology, automotive, customer service, and restaurant outlets.   Identify and nurture our industry influencers to grow SoundHound's brand awareness and advocacy. Work with partners and customers to create case studies for PR and social media.  Develop unique angles to promote SoundHound AI product and customer news to social media audiences.   Write long-form content such as press releases and contributed articles, as well as shorter social posts, executive quotes, and other public-facing commentary.  Collaborate with our creative team ​​to produce graphics and videos that help increase engagement with social posts. Support integrated communications plans that improve the reach and impact of news announcements. Implement best practices for social listening and the optimization of channels. Grow engagement, reach, and impact through proactive campaigns. Build a plan to extend the reach of our social media efforts through employee and executive engagement programs.  Analyze relevant data and report on PR & social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations as needed. We would love to hear from you if: You have 2-5 years of experience working in PR and social media, preferably in the B2B tech space. *Note: it is acceptable to have more experience in either PR or social, but you should be willing to learn and grow in the other area.   You have experience managing relationships with business and technology media. You understand the benefits and best practices of various social platforms. You have a passion for storytelling through multiple formats—both visual and written. You are well-organized, self-directed, and possess excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail. You can prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. You have experience with analytics and are proficient in tools to measure engagement and coverage, respectively.  You have a BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations preferred. This role is available throughout the United States except for the following 17 states: AL, AK, DE, IA, KS, ME, MS, MO, NH, ND, RI, SC, SD, VT, WV, WI, and WY. Employees within a 60-mile radius of our Santa Clara, CA, or Nashville, TN, offices are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled, company-wide “core days” each month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration. Aside from these core days, the role allows for remote, hybrid, and in-office workplace settings. The salary range for this position is between $66,000-113,000. Our recruiting team will provide a specific salary range based on location and years of experience.
