Job Requisition ID #24WD75369Position OverviewAutodesk is looking to hire a Principal Salesforce Developer to be part of our team. You will be responsible for developing the needs features. This position is remote, Westcoast based.ResponsibilitiesYou will lead the design and architecture efforts for Salesforce solutions, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and following best practicesYou will make important technical decisions and provide architectural guidance to us and our teamsYou will write advanced code to implement complex custom functionalities using Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components. Ensure code quality and maintainabilityWill work with us to lead customization efforts, ensuring that declarative tools like Flows and Workflow Rules are used with code-based solutionsYou will lead complex integration projects, including designing integrations with other applications using APIs, middleware, and connectors. Ensure data integrity and flowDevelop and manage advanced data solutions within Salesforce, including data modelling, ETL processes, and data migrations for complex scenariosYou will develop advanced security measures, including designing and optimizing profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules for complex data structuresDefine and oversee advanced testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests for complex scenarios. Ensure comprehensive test coverageYou will plan and lead complex deployments of Salesforce configurations and code, ensuring smooth transitions between environments and minimizing downtimeEnsure comprehensive documentation of complex solutions, including technical specifications, data models, and release notes. Maintain documentation standardsLead efforts to monitor and optimize the performance of complex Salesforce applications, including code optimisation, query tuning, and scalability enhancementsYou will help mentor Junior team member and be responsible for their deliverablesMinimum QualificationBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)Salesforce Developer certified (e.g., Application Architect/ System Architect/ Technical Architect)9+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and limitationsYou must have 5+ years of experience with SFDC platform and partner ecosystemExperience with Sales Cloud and Sales processes, experience with Customer Success Management is preferredWorking Experience in a complex integrated environment where multiple systems interact with SalesforceCRMA knowledge will be beneficialYou need experience designing at least 2-4 projects as a tech leadProficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative developmentYou need solid experience with Salesforce integrations and data managementKnowledge of best practices in Salesforce development and design patternLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $139,100 and $224,950. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
