Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role:We are looking for a Corporate Meetings Manager who will assist with corporate meetings program management, venue selection, and corporate meetings spend analysis and reporting.What You'll Do:This person will be responsible for developing and driving global category strategies for meetings and events and understand the business/company requirements to improve value and partner with business team membersThis also includes driving the end-to-end Sourcing process of crafting and leading category strategies, spend and market analysis, running RFx’s, negotiating contracts and pricing, and supplier managementComplete activities aligned with the meetings and events sourcing & supplier strategy Gather all business requirements and other information to accurately source and place an eventInitiate RFP process to secure appropriate room blocks, logistical, production, and other event needs, and pricing from hotels, event agencies, technology and other suppliersReview supplier contracts prior to finalization and conduct final negotiations with selected suppliers for the best possible pricing and concessions to meet savings and spend expectationsEstablish relationships with key suppliers to drive strategic commercial initiativesLeverage internal systems to automate reports and scale current/future processesUtilize data to evaluate additional category sourcing opportunities and implement parent services agreements to drive commercial value for the organizationTechnology and product scanning/Market Intelligence - Support efforts to identify the latest trends in technologies and industry offeringsStay on top of industry standards and trends related to responsibilitiesScout venues to identify appropriate venues based on meeting size, location, budgetWork with vendors to ensure timely communication of proposals, venue selection and contract executionManage corporate meetings annual schedule to ensure timely proposal review, venue & vendor selection, and funding approval.Monitor and report on event costs against budgets and provide support for event cost reconciliationAnalyze meeting spend, trends, and performance against cost benchmarksMaintain list of preferred vendors, educate business partners on company policiesPrepare presentations and reports for executive team on corporate meeting spendWhat You'll Need:Proven experience in meetings management, hospitality and venue sourcingGood negotiation skillsAbility to analyze meeting spend to identify trends, prepare reports and presentations for executive teamHighly organized, efficient, and customer service-oriented with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectationsAbility to manage change effectively while being mindful of business processes and systems implicationsProficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is preferredBonus Points:High-tech, start-up, rapid growth and/or publicly traded company experienceAbility to work quickly and accurately under pressure and with time constraint#LI-REMOTE#LI-MJ1Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-first cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awardsCompetitive vacation and flexible working arrangements Comprehensive and inclusive health benefitsPhysical and mental wellness programsPaid parental leave, including adoption A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunitiesOffices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaborationWe are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $80,000 - $130,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
