You will join our team full-time, beginning in the summer of 2024. You’ll be starting off alongside several other teammates from across the US to officially kick off your career with SailPoint. At the conclusion of the program, you will settle into your new role and team. Requirements to participate in the program: Recent or upcoming grad (June 2024 deadline) Foundational coding knowledge Degree in computer science or relevant technical focus Ability to work within the US Ability to travel to Austin, TX and work in person for three weeks starting June 10th, 2024 through June 25th 2024. If you are on an F1/OPT visa it must activate by June 10th, 2024 About the role: As a UI Engineer, you will be a member of an agile team tasked with building and maintaining the toolchains for deploying, monitoring, translating, & securing UI in support of product teams. Your ability to build trusting relationships through use of your expertise and careful listening to stakeholders and your team will be paramount to success in this role. In turn, you will receive thoughtful critique, direct coaching and opportunities to have a large impact on the entire engineering organization, along with our team of engineering leads and software architects. Responsibilities: Design and implement intuitive, maintainable, responsive web application UI’s using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers and designers on UX and interaction designs Consume supporting REST APIs and interact closely with microservices teams Build prototypes used to collect user feedback in order to iterate through design choices Instrument, maintain, and analyze tracking metrics collected at various points within the application to identify pain points and guide improvements Participate in UI Guild On-Call rotation to monitor regression tests and triage bugs Develop and maintain automated test solutions where possible, and manually test all features as needed otherwise Participate in code reviews and enforce our standard SDLC practices Contribute to architecture design, planning, and cross-team shared component libraries Work closely with product management to provide technical input on features and help develop delivery roadmaps Presenting and demoing new features to the wider SAAS organization Experience You’ll Probably Have: Recent graduate with a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or similar 1-2 years of educational/professional software development experience creating cross-browser compatible web-based UIs Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSON, REST, AJAX, HTTP Experience with one or more JavaScript framework or related such as Angular, React, ExtJS, Webpack, NodeJS, VueJS Experience with one or more Automated UI testing frameworks (Jest, Karma, Protractor, Selenium, Jasmine) Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred: Experience with Angular, TypeScript, NgRx, NodeJS, and NestJS Experience with responsive design Agile/scrum development methodology Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, etc. Familiarity with commercial security applications/infrastructure products #LI-AS1 #LI-REMOTESailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome everyone to our team.
