We are looking for an Application Security Engineer with some application security, architecture, and data flow design experience, who enjoys working on projects from start to finish and partnering with others to build sound security practices.A Typical Day:From a day-to-day standpoint, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for vulnerability management, application security, and security engagement. You’ll be hands-on with our code scanning and testing suite, performing initial triage of findings, tuning detection rules, and helping developers and product managers prioritize remediation. You’ll become a trusted advisor to the product and development teams through expansion of our Security Champions program, participation in planning sessions, and guidance on remediating issues found in testing or design reviews. You’ll rely on strong business acumen and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical risk and business impact, developing dashboards and/or presentations that integrate insights from code scanners and penetration testing.When on-call, the Engineer is responsible for responding to all Major Incidents in a timely manner and addressing all service disruptions until the incident is deemed resolved.Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love.
