Your potential is waiting; why are you?Job Title: EMEA Statutory Reporting AccountantLocation: Manila, Philippines We are looking for an ambitious finance professional to join our EMEA Statutory Reporting team.Key Responsibilities:Assuming day-to-day responsibility for the statutory accounting and external reporting activities of a portfolio of Genesys subsidiaries across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements.Contributing to continuous and sustainable improvements in statutory reporting in line with our automation (Multibook-Workday), standardization and simplification strategy.Acting as the principal point of contact with external auditors on allocated audits, maximizing efficiency and to streamlining the process, including facilitating the flow of information between the relevant Genesys departments and the auditors.Working closely with teams across controllership and corporate functions (tax, treasury, legal , HR) as well as external accounting firms, as appropriate, to ensure that statutory financial data is accurate, complete and submitted timely.Working with the purchasing team to get new accounting firm, auditor on board and set up quickly and efficiently. Raising PR request and other ad hoc project.Qualifications and Skills:An appropriate professional qualification (Chartered Accountant/ RA/ CPA etc.)At least 3 years of experience in audit and/ or external reporting roles, preferably gained in a Big 4 firm or a multi-national corporationSolid knowledge of IFRS. Knowledge of other accounting standards is a plus.Experience in preparing cash flow statements and consolidated financial statements is a must.Strong analytical skills with attention to detailThe ability to take initiative and be a self-starterStrong ability to seek information and problem-solve issuesThe ability to manage projects to tight deadlinesMust be able to build strong working relationshipsFluent English.
